A noble legacy: the Brandolini story

The Brandolini family's military history began in the 6th century with Brando I and spans over 1,500 years to the present day. In 1436, the renowned condottiero Brandolino IV and his ally Erasmo da Narni, known as "Gattamelata", were granted the fiefdom of Cison by the Republic of Venice in recognition of their heroic service.

For centuries, Casagrande served as the agricultural and administrative heart of this vast estate, which included more than 140 farms, the famous Case Rosse Brandolini. The family crest is reflected in the "Rosso Brandolini".
